SPECIAL SERVICE: Passover Seder and Unity Communion

The symbols of the Unity Communion, the sharing of the wine and wafer, come directly from the ritual of the Passover Seder as practiced by Jesus with his disciples at The Last Supper.  Seder customs include telling the story of Exodus from Egypt, drinking four cups of wine, breaking and eating matzo, sharing prayers and songs, and partaking of symbolic foods placed on the Passover Seder Plate. The Seder has been performed in much the same way by Jews all over the world for thousands of years as instructed in the Old Testament. Please join us as we celebrate the Seder and Communion together in this 2-part service.  You can taste the foods of the Seder and see how these celebrations are joined together in spiritual bonds.
