Humble Design Collection Day

Sunday, October 20 | 11am-3pm

As part of the Bolder Together collective, The Unity Center (along with several other New Thought and Unity Churches) will be collecting new or gently used household goods for Humble Design, San Diego. Please bring your household items to The Unity Center lobby on Sunday,October 20 after service!

About Humble Design:
Humble Design serves individuals, families, and veterans emerging from homelessness by transforming their empty house into a warm, welcoming and uplifting home with donated furniture and household goods. Across the country, Humble Design warehouses are curated and stocked by design teams that personalize homes by providing a dignified, life changing experience for clients.

New or Gently Used Items We Are Collecting:
Curtain Rods with Hardware
Standard Pillows
Flat Screen TV's
All Decor (Paintings, wall art, trinkets, etc) Rugs
Curtains/Draperies
Small Kitchen Appliances (Toasters, Microwaves, Coffee Makers, etc) Kitchenware/Silverware
Coffee Tables
End/Side tables
Bed frames (Queen, Full, and Twin)

Other Details:
Drop items off after service on October 20 in the lobby of The Unity Center.

To make sure we meet Humble Design standards, we will inspect all items before accepting them; we reserve the right to not accept items that do not meet HD qualifications

For really big items, we encourage donors to arrange directly with Humble Design to pick up the items.
