Pat Nissan Board Member board@theunitycenter.net |
When I found The Unity Center, I knew that my life was going to take a new direction. I joyfully chose to become a Facilitator for Faith in Action and Sacred Circle groups. My community grew exponentially through my service work there and then through my involvement with the Travel With A Purpose trips, my passion for fair trade led me to co-run the Exotic World Gifts Cafe. Being a board member now, creates the opportunity for me to participate in the visioning of where, what, who and when The Unity Center decides to BE as we all go forward in this spiritual journey together!
I have two grown up children, who cycle in and out of my home, a significant other currently living in Ecuador,, foreign exchange students from many diverse countries and two devoted dogs to make my life complete. I founded Self Wealth Coaching in 2007 and work with women who are in transition. In my earlier years, I was in private practice as an MFT and combine this training with my life coaching to empower women to become their very best selves.
I love traveling internationally to third world countries ,so I can experience rich and historically diverse new cultures. My hobbies include hiking on various trails here in San Diego or wherever I travel to, taking long walks to the beach with my dogs, seeing movies and live theatre, having dinner with great family and friends, swimming in warm oceans and playing on one of my many Mac related “toys”. I currently am waiting for technology to create wrist replacements, so I can return to my life time passion of playing competitive tennis.
